If you’ve been reading my blog for a while or following me on social media, you’ve probably seen that courthouse weddings are kind of my thing. I love them!
They’re elegant, simple, and sweet. They are relatively stress free and book up my weekdays. It’s a win-win. Another thing, the courthouses in Seattle are GORGEOUS, so it’s always fun to work there.

Why the King County Courthouse?
As law students, Angie and Isaac have spent countless hours immersed in the world of legal studies. The King County Courthouse felt like the ideal place for them to say their vows—a space that not only symbolized their passion for the law but also served as a meaningful backdrop to their love story. Rather than opting for a traditional wedding venue, they chose a setting that reflected who they are as a couple. The marble hallways and historic charm of the courthouse made for a classic and elegant atmosphere, perfect for their intimate ceremony.

A Photoshoot in Seattle’s Pioneer Square
After the ceremony, we took full advantage of Seattle’s rich architectural history by heading to Pioneer Square for their wedding portraits. The brick walls, ivy-covered alleyways, and historic archways provided the perfect contrast to the sleek, polished courthouse interior.
One of the best parts? Their dog, Charlie, joined them for the shoot—dressed in the most adorable little suit. The addition of Charlie brought a playful, personal touch to the session, showing that their wedding day wasn’t just about tradition—it was about celebrating their love in a way that felt authentic to them.

Kind Words From Angie and Isaac
"If you are looking to have the most beautiful pictures of your big day, Andre is the right choice. We LOVED working with Andre. In our first call I told him that I wanted the pictures to capture our emotions, and that is exactly what we got. He did an amazing job guiding us and making us feel comfortable. Lastly, even when he anticipated the pictures to be delayed, we received them faster than expected"

Notable Locations & Highlights
- The Courthouse’s Main Lobby & Elevator Area: The grand marble interiors added a sophisticated and timeless element to their photos.
- Pioneer Square’s Brick Alleyways: The rich textures and historic charm made for stunning, moody backdrops.
- Charlie in a Suit!: Because, let’s be honest, a dapper dog always steals the show.
Why Choose a Courthouse Wedding?
For couples looking for a simple yet meaningful way to tie the knot, a courthouse wedding is a fantastic option. It allows the focus to remain entirely on the love and commitment between two people, rather than on the logistics of planning a big event. Plus, the combination of the elegant courthouse setting with an urban photoshoot in Seattle creates a truly unique and visually stunning wedding album.
