A Proposal Only Happens Once.

You do not get a redo on the look in their eyes, the second where it registers, the laugh right after the yes, or the way your hands probably shake before it starts. That is what makes proposal photography a unique challenge that requires only the best. It is about protecting a real moment and documenting it well.

Beyond the photos, I help with location ideas, timing, the setup, the cover story, backup plans for weather, and how to keep the whole thing feeling natural. Then I stay out of the way and document it without turning it into a performance.

How I Help With Proposals

The best proposals feel thoughtful, not overproduced.

I can help you choose a spot that fits the kind of moment you want. That might be somewhere iconic in Seattle, somewhere quiet, somewhere with a mountain view, or somewhere that means something to your relationship. Once the plan is set, I help you think through timing, positioning, and how to make the surprise actually work.

After the proposal, we can keep things simple or roll right into a short engagement session so you have both the surprise and the aftermath.

Planning Help

I help with more than showing up. I help make the plan make sense.

Low-Profile Coverage

I know how to stay out of the way so the moment still feels like yours.

Strong Photos After the Yes

Once the nerves are gone, we can make a few portraits while you are still fully in it.

Seattle and PNW Knowledge

From city spots to trails and scenic overlooks, I can help you narrow down what fits best.

I.  Tell Me the Plan

Send me the date, general location, and what kind of proposal you are thinking about.

II. We Lock in the Details

We talk through the exact spot, timing, how you will get them there, and what backup plan makes sense if weather changes.

III. You Propose, I Document It

I stay ready, capture the surprise, and then we take a few just-engaged photos right after while everything is still fresh.

" In addition to being willing to drive to the park from Seattle, Andre was more than helpful in guiding me through the whole process to make it as special a day for us as possible. He offered suggestions on location, time of day, and ultimate setup. His expertise brought my vision to life."

FAQ

Can you help me choose a proposal location?

Yes. That is a big part of what I do for proposal clients.

What if the weather changes?

We make a backup plan ahead of time so you are not scrambling at the last second.

Do we take photos after the proposal too?

Yes. Usually we spend some time right after the proposal making a few portraits while the energy is still there.

How secret can this really be?

Very. We plan ahead so I know where to be and how to stay unnoticed until the moment happens.
