Engagement Sessions in Seattle, Washington, and Throughout the Pacific Northwest.

An engagement session is not just a box to check before the wedding.

It is a chance to make photos in a place that feels like you, get comfortable being documented, and spend a little time together without the pressure of a full wedding timeline around you. It can be quiet, playful, dressed up, outdoorsy, city-based, messy, sentimental, or simple. The important part is that it actually reflects you.

I help with location ideas, timing, light, outfit guidance, and making sure the session never feels overly stiff. The goal is not to force chemistry. The goal is to create space for it.

What These Sessions Can Look Like

You do not need an epic mountaintop if that is not you.

Some sessions make sense in the city. Some belong on a beach, in the woods, on a trail, at home, or in the neighborhood where you spend your Sundays.

Some couples bring their dog. Some dress up. Some want a more laid back feel. I am happy with all of it as long as it feels honest.

Featured Engagement Galleries

These galleries show full sessions in different environments, seasons, and moods so you can get a better idea of what fits you.

This is the process:

A series of photographs showing hands raised against a blurry sky background, displaying jewelry and rings.

I.  Pick the Vibe

We talk about what feels like you. City, mountain, coast, home, editorial, casual, or somewhere in between.

II.  Plan the Session

I help with location options, timing, outfit guidance, and the practical stuff that makes a session go smoothly.

III. Shoot and Deliver

During the session, I guide when needed and back off when I should. Afterward, you get a gallery that feels cohesive, natural, and like the two of you.

What sets Andre apart are all of the intangibles we felt along the way. We felt we were in good hands because of his energy, his passion, and his attention to detail.

FAQ

Do you travel?

Yes! I’m based in Seattle but travel throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Wherever your love story takes you, I’m in. For Oregon and California, I offer fixed travel rates.

What if it rains?

This is the PNW. It a real possibility it will! I come prepared. Rain makes for gorgeous, cinematic photos (and we’ll always have a backup plan), but for heavier rain, we can reschedule the shoot (subject to availability).

We’re awkward in front of the camera. Help?

Happy to help! I’ll guide you when needed, but most of the time I’m just documenting what naturally unfolds. No pressure to pose. Just be yourselves. I’ll offer posing prompts when helpful and step back when needed to let you shine.

Can we bring our dog?

Absolutely. I love it when couples include their pets. It adds so much personality to your photos. Let me know your pup’s favorite treats so I can pack extra goodies.

Do you help with planning?

Yes. I’ll help you with your wedding photography timelines, location scouting, finding the perfect lighting, and more.

What’s your photography style?

I mix a variety of photography styles, like editorial and documentary, to make your photos look and feel genuine. The key here is to use styles that help you tell your love story your way.

When will we receive our photos?

Sneak peeks come within a week of your wedding day. Full galleries are delivered within 6–8 weeks. Note that your photos may take longer to deliver, around three months, during peak wedding season. Engagements and smaller sessions are usually delivered within 3 to 4 weeks, while proposal and courthouse wedding photos take 2 to 3 weeks.

Do you offer payment plans?

I understand weddings are a big investment, and I’m happy to work with you to find a flexible option. A retainer locks in your date, and we can build a package or payment plan that works for you.

Can we meet before booking?

Definitely. I love to connect with couples via Zoom or even in person if you’re local. It’s a great way to make sure we’re aligned and to answer any questions you might have before booking.
